Welcome to the official website of IFMA Uganda.
It’s been a remarkable journey since the formation of our Chapter—what began as a bold initiative has evolved into a dynamic and growing community of professionals who are shaping the future of Facility Management in Uganda.
As the President of the Uganda Chapter of the International Facility Management Association, I’m proud to see how our industry continues to grow and gain recognition within our country. Over the past few years, Uganda has experienced a surge of interest and investment in Facility Management, with new professionals entering the field and organizations seeking greater efficiency, sustainability, and strategic value from their built environment.
At IFMA Uganda, our mission is to bring together this expanding community—to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and elevate the role of FM in every sector. We actively promote the globally recognized credentials of IFMA—CFM, FMP, and SFP—which empower professionals to demonstrate their expertise and drive meaningful change within their organizations.
We invite you to explore our site, connect with our leadership, and take part in the initiatives we are building. Whether you’re just starting your FM journey or you’re a seasoned expert, IFMA Uganda is here to support your growth and impact.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, I thank you for your interest and support. We look forward to continuing this exciting journey with all of you—as we live, work, and lead in one of the most inspiring countries in the world.
Warm regards,
Henry Mulindwa

While the IFMA Uganda Chapter counts almost a year of existence, professionals from many different industries (FM, Real Estate, Construction, Project Management, etc), have already reached out to us, asking for more details on the Chapter’s purpose, vision and goals. All that information is already available on our website, while seminars and meetings will frequently take place, regarding news and updates on topics related to all of the above.
Our main goal is, for the IFMA Uganda Chapter to be a place of networking, professional and person evolution of all those who would like to expand their mindset outside of the Uganda borders.
